FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    *a $300 deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your session date.

    This fee is deducted from the overall cost of your package – it is not an additional charge.

    The remainder is due no later than 1 week prior to your session date.

  • I love to shoot in the morning when our children are happy and the light is magical. If outdoors we shoot at sunrise when the light is soft and warm. If at home we shoot 30 mins after sunrise (approx. 730am start). I understand every family is different and if arvos are your jam we can make that work too.

  • Once booked I will send you a pre-shooting guide which will include what to expect from a session together, what to bring and some guidance around what to wear. Every family is different and all I ask is that you come exactly as you are and let go of any expectations you may have. The most important thing in regards to what to wear is that you feel comfortable and dress true to you. Neutrals, casual, comfy clothes with layers and textures all work beautifully.

  • If we are shooting outdoors and the weather is looking yuck I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule. If we are shooting at home, unless you have your heart set on garden photos, we will go ahead as usual.

  • Life happens. And kids (and adults) get sick. I’m incredibly flexible; just drop me a line and we can reschedule to another day. Same applies for me; I will never come to a newborn or any session unwell. Also, I’m fully vaccinated.

  • Of course! My sessions are super relaxed. I never ask for stiff poses and fake smiles. I will be a fly on the wall, guiding you into beautiful light whilst letting you guys be exactly yourselves.

  • I urge you not to worry about this. I have 3 small children of my own. Our house is FULL of big feelings. If your little one has a moment we can take our time; there is no rush, and help him/her move through it. Sometimes these moments of connection turn out to be the most beautiful moments caught on film.

  • The wait is hard….BUT I promise you will receive your images within 3 weeks of your session via an online gallery.

  • YES. Please please please print your photos. They are too special to be hidden on your cloud or phone. You won’t regret printing your images onto high quality fine art paper and holding your precious photos in your hands to last the test of time. You can order prints and products via your online gallery and the quality is INCREDIBLE. If you do decide to do the printing yourself, just make sure you use a professional quality print lab.
